Fraidycat3 Matt’s music taps into a timeless state. It evokes a mood and feelings that I know must co-exist in each of us. This is where he is magic: bringing it together, weaving something both familiar and unexpected. Entirely satisfying. So how else to say this? He can journey and descend with you into a solemn misty landscape, but finds a way back towards the sun. Even though I have never met Matt, he is one of the most real people I know. Favorite track: Cradles.

Anthony Childs Astonishing. After so many releases in a single year (not to mention in several consecutive years) there are still sonic surprises among the familiar styles and moods. This is among Matt's most focused and powerful releases. I continue to state indie labels should be fighting over releasing his music in physical format. He continues to transcend hyperbole. Favorite track: Ready.
